The 31-year-old pop star shared a short, yet horrified, reaction to an AI version of herself singing The Weeknd‘s song “Starboy,” which was posted on an Instagram fan account.
The clip features a rendition of the song’s pre-chorus in Selena‘s voice.

The Weeknd‘s “Starboy” was released in 2016 and has recently inspired other viral AI covers using popular artists’ voices such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Britney Spears.
Selena and The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, dated for 10 months in 2017. The Weeknd is rumored to be in a relationship with DJ Simi Khadra, while Selena is currently single.
