Ariana Grande Shows Love to Mac Miller While Celebrating 10th Anniversary of 'Yours Truly'

Ariana Grande is sending love to Mac Miller as she celebrates the 10th anniversary of her debut album Yours Truly.

The 30-year-old “God is a woman” hitmaker unveiled a deluxe edition of the album on Friday (August 25). She also uploaded multiple live recordings from a performance in London onto YouTube, including a new recording of her duet with Mac - “The Way.”

Fans noticed a subtle but meaningful tribute to the late rapper while listening to the recording.

Ariana has plans to release a taped live performance of “The Way” in the coming days. The current video on YouTube is only the audio accompanied by an animated version of the new album art. As the song comes to a close, the screen goes black until all that remains is “Feat. Mac Miller.”

It was a purposeful move. Ariana uses a different technique with the visualizer for her new recording of the Big Sean-assisted “Right There.” With that clip, the rapper’s name fades out while everything else remains as the song ends.

If you were unaware, Ariana and Mac dated from September 2016 to May 2018. The singer spoke out about their relationship after their breakup became public knowledge.

Mac tragically passed away just a few months after their split at the age of 26. Ariana paid tribute to him at the time, and it is widely believed that her 2019 song “ghostin” is about the late star.

Ariana already sent love to Mac earlier this year when she celebrated the 10th anniversary of “The Way.”

The live performance of “The Way” will be released on Wednesday (August 30). We’ve got Ariana‘s full schedule for her tribute to Yours Truly.
