Barbie is shaping up to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the summer, and its accompanying soundtrack is every bit as major.
Out on July 21, we already know that the album features original music from the likes of Dua Lipa (who kicked things off with lead single “Dance the Night”), Lizzo, Charli XCX, Khalid, Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice (who joined forces for an update on Aqua‘s iconic “Barbie Girl”). Ryan Gosling even has a song in the mix!
However, there were two big mysteries on the tracklist when it was first revealed. We have since learned that one of them is an original song from Billie Eilish. The last is still a guessing game.
Executive producer Mark Ronson offered a big hint on who it might be, which helped us come up with a shortlist of potential artists. Now, we want to know who you would be most excited to see on the album!

Speaking to Time, Mark confirmed that the mystery artist would be “obviously one of the f-cking greatest living artists around.” Additionally, they had “a very personal, idiosyncratic tie to Barbie as well.”
Of course, so many pop stars fit the bill. Fans have come up with a couple of frontrunners who would make sense.
Lady Gaga teased that she was working on a special project recently. Paris Hilton just dropped a new song and hopped on Instagram to promote Barbie. Mark just received a Barbie-themed gift from Beyonce.
There are others, with Britney Spears, Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus being floated by fans as strong contenders.
Obviously, we can’t say for sure yet, but everyone has a favorite. Let us know your choice!
