There’s been another update about Ethan Slater amid his ongoing split from his wife Lilly Jay.
Last week, it was reported that the 31-year-old actor had begun a romantic relationship with Ariana Grande, who he met on the set of Wicked. Then on Wednesday (July 26), Ethan filed for divorce from his wife Lilly James.
Lilly subsequently issued a series of statements in which she addressed the situation.
According to a new report from People, Ethan has returned to New York City amid the drama.

One source told the outlet that Ethan was seen walking around the city, while another claimed that could be seen FaceTiming Ariana while out and about.
A few days ago, an insider shared some new details about Ethan and Ariana‘s relationship, noting that the pair didn’t get together until they were both separated from their spouses.
“It was obvious on the set from early on…they were very sweet to each other and often seen laughing together,” the source said. “Everyone just thought they were both happily married though and didn’t expect them to end up dating.”
They also added that Ethan and Ariana are “full-on dating”, adding that Ariana “really likes” Ethan.
