Justin Bieber‘s father Jeremy is being called out.
On Wednesday (June 7), the 48-year-old posted a meme that featured a rainbow flag alongside the caption: “Don’t forget to thank a straight person this month for your existence.”
The since-deleted post comes two days after Jeremy wrote that people need to “celebrate families” in a separate tweet. “We need to celebrate families,” he wrote. “U know the reason we’re all here! The things this generation glorifies is unbelievable!”

After noticing the backlash, Jeremy followed up with another tweet, writing, “Acknowledging the nuclear family is offensive? My apologies to those offended. Was not my intent. Not that my opinion matters.”
Users quickly condemned Jeremy‘s comments in both the replies and quote tweets of his posts. “You talking about family is extremely ironic,” one fan wrote, while another added: “This man talking about nuclear family is so insane to me.”
