Janelle Monae is showstopping as she hits the red carpet at the 2019 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 6) in New York City.
The 33-year-old singer-actress is wearing a custom Christian Siriano ensemble, which included an eye on her top that blinked on its own on the carpet.
“What an honor to create for this amazing woman!,” Christian captioned with his Instagram post. “Watch that eye blink tonight!”
The Costume Institute Gala Benefit this year is celebrating the opening of the “Camp: Notes on Fashion” exhibition and is hosted by Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, Serena Williams, Gucci designer Alessandro Michele, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
