Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner planned a surprise wedding ceremony in Las Vegas on Wednesday (May 1), despite the fact that they are supposedly having a bigger wedding this coming summer.
A source is telling People that the 29-year-old singer and 23-year-old Game of Thrones star legally got married in the US so that their marriage is legitimate once they have their ceremony in Europe this summer.
“They had to get married in the States to make it legal, but the wedding is still in Europe,” the source said. The couple are planning to wed in France.
