This Marching Band's Cover of Adele's "Hello" Deserves a Standing Ovation

Just when we thought all of the amazing covers of Adele's "Hello" had blessed our ears beyond measure, a college marching band just pulled off the cover of all covers.

On the Friday after Thanksgiving, Baton Rouge's Southern University covered "Hello" during the school's annual Bayou Classic Battle of the Bands and their version of the singer's emotional ballad is absolutely everything.

The tune is immediately recognizable as the band expertly mimics the serious, emotion-laden first verse of "Hello." But that's only the calm before the spine-chilling storm as the band proves why they're known as "The Human Jukebox." Within a matter of seconds, they literally take the song from 0 to 100 with a powerful chorus that would probably earn a standing ovation from Adele herself.

The marching band joins a talented group of musicians who've covered "Hello" with their own unique perspectives, including Demi Lovato and a high school student from Seoul whose beautiful rendition left us speechless. Southern University's mind-blowing version has already garnered close to a million views on YouTube and we have to say it's definitely one of the most moving covers we've heard to date.

Now all we need is for Kelly Clarkson to put her spin on it and send us to cover fandom heaven.
