Demi Lovato is staying neutral on this one, guys.
You know how those Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez rumors won't let up, right? Of course, the pic snapped of him whispering in her ear at a VMAs after party only fueled the gossip and then there was Sel's Ryan Seacrest interview, where she got a text mid-interview from "a cute guy" who she revealed has brown hair. Of course, our brains immediately took us to Nick...hmmm.
There was also the buzz that Nick had a shoutout to Selena on his new song 'Area Code,' which he (kind of?) seemed to confirm. Certainly pal Demi would have some inside scoop?
When asked by Capital FM about Nick and Sel, however, Demi isn't saying a word, responding, "I'm Switzerland! I have no opinion on that!"
Well played, Demi. Don't give out any soundbites that'll get you in trouble, girl.
She added, "Listen, if I have an opinion on something, I'm gonna say it...I want him to be happy."
Demi also said that when people say they want to be set up with her pal Nick she doesn't "take it seriously," adding, "But if somebody actually was like 'hey,' and I thought he would be into them, I'd hook them up. He deserves the best."
We love how Demi is looking out for her friend's best interests. They definitely have one of our fave celeb friendships.
