The 57th annual Grammy Awards are just hours away...and it looks like we're in for a treat. Before the show begins, check out the top five reasons why you need to tune in.
1. Beyoncé is performing: Those three words are enough for us to tune in. After kicking off the Grammys last year with her hot performance of "Drunk in Love" with Jay Z, Bey will reportedly be back for a much tamer appearance. According to Rolling Stone , Common confirmed to the mag that before he and John Legend perform "Glory" on the show, the super star songstress will introduce them with a soulful rendition of gospel tune, "Take My Hand, Precious Lord." Be prepared to get your life.
2. Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney's performance: On the heels of the release of their "FourFiveSeconds" music video, the trio will hit the stage together for the first time to perform the song. On top of that, Kanye will also debut a new song and perform it in a separate performance solo. We're secretly hoping he throws his new song "Only One" into the mix and brings North on stage. Hey, we can dream.
3. The Best Rap Album Winner Announcement: It seems like everyone has been talking about the best rap album category this year, with the academy drawing controversy after it nominated Iggy Azalea's The New Classic. If it wins, we have a feeling the reactions in the crowd and speeches afterwards will be classic. We may even be in store for another moment-jacking stunt a la Kanye/Taylor Swift.
4. Sia's Performance: The indie music star was recently added to the list of performers, and from the looks of her "Elastic Heart" music video featuring Shia LaBeouf and body-twisting Maddie Ziegler, there's no telling what the Australian artist has in store.
5. The line-up: This year's show features a star-studded line up of performers including Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, Ariana Grande, Pharrell, Jessie J and Tom Jones, Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Usher and Miranda Lambert. We should be in for a treat.
