So far, we know that Lenny Kravitz will be joining her for the 12-minute show and Missy Elliot will also be in the mix. Katy didn't reveal her set list, but did say it will be full of female empowerment. "I'm all about female empowerment," she told The Associated Press , "Hopefully I can bring that incredible strength and power to people though the performance.
One thing we always look forward to when Katy performs are her costumes. She has worn some of the coolest on-stage ensembles that we've ever seen, so we knew she'd be pulling out all the stops for the Super Bowl.
Her costume designer for the show is Jeremy Scott, who she's used before and who is also a favorite of stars like Miley Cyrus. But, Jeremy is super creative and that doesn't narrow it down a whole lot in terms of what we can expect in the wardrobe department.
She did say that she will have more than one costume for the set and told Us Weekly that, "All I'll say about my opening costume is that it's going to be flaming hot, not a Cheeto," giving a shoutout to her 2014 Flamin' Hot Cheeto Halloween costume.
Just judging by what she wore for the pre-game press conference (above), we can't even imagine what kind of stuff she has in store for the big show! We don't know what we're more excited for - the performance itself or her costumes!
