Katy Perry killed it during her Super Bowl performance. Not only could we not keep our eyes off her moves and outfits, but we couldn't help but wait anxiously for that rumored Taylor Swift diss.So did it happen? We didn't think so at first, then we noticed something that could've been a diss. Maybe we are looking into it too much?
While Katy was singing "California Girls" her dancers were seen wearing bikinis that looked a lot like the ones Tay wore a few years ago. You know, the retro, high-waist ones she sported in her Conor Kennedy days?
Might not seem like much but Katy's dancers are the supposed reasons why the beef between the two ladies started in the first place. Did she dress them up like that on purpose to diss Taylor? Fans on Twitter seemed to think so!
We honestly don't think that was the case. Why would she give the feud the spotlight whenever it's her big night? If Katy did take that jab at her, it is kind of a lame diss in our book. She could've thought of something better.
But for reals, can't there be two awesome, powerful women in pop music these days? Can't everyone get along? We were really hoping Tay would pop out on stage with her. Now THAT would've been epic!
