Taylor Swift is all about showing her east coast pride these days. The singer just previewed a song from her upcoming 1989 album, and it's all about New York City.
On Monday morning, Taylor posted a clip of "Welcome to New York," which is about well, her um moving to New York.
"The inspiration that I found in that city is kind of hard to describe and hard to compare to any other force of inspiration I've ever experienced in my life," Taylor explains in a video posted on YouTube. "It's like an electric city."
Taylor penned the song with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder. Like "Shake It Off", this track is a fun, pop tune that will probably get stuck inside your head like no other.
"Welcome to New York" will become available at 12 a.m. on Tuesday on iTunes. Until then, listen to the preview below. Does it make you want to move to NYC ASAP?
