One of Taylor Swift's biggest nightmares just came true. The singer just got slammed with an official 1989 album leak, and her team is NOT happy with it.According to New York magazine, the first leaked song was "Blank Space". It was posted on YouTube, and was yanked by her label Big Machine Records within hours. That wasn't before tons of people heard it, though.
So who is the sneaky person who let things slip? There are reports that some of the leaks could have stemmed from Target because hackers posted not only the 13 main tracks off 1989, but the 19 songs crafted exclusively for the Target edition.
Some fingers are being pointed towards France, too. The songs' iTunes descriptions are in French...
It still isn't clear how the songs were stolen, but they're supposedly still floating around on Tumblr. You can listen to all the tunes, if you have the special password. We wouldn't listen though, if we were you. You might catch the wrath of the Swifties, who are currently freaking out on Twitter on those who listened to the songs early.
We're pretty sure Taylor saw all of this coming. "I don't even wanna talk about it. I don't trust technology," she recently said during an appearance on Alan Carr: Chatty Man. "I don't want to talk about leaks. It freaks me out. I will have a meltdown on the show."
Hopefully she can just shake, shake, shake this one off...
