Miley Cyrus and Rihanna were on the list for last night's star-studded AmfAR's Inspiration Gala, but bras were decidely not.
Both girls, clad in cleavage baring numbers from Tom Ford's spring 2015 collection, dared to show serious skin for a good cause. The annual event in LA raises money for AIDS research.
But they didn't just show their support by attending. During the charity auction emceed by Justin Timberlake, Miley and Riri got into a bidding war over a print of a naked woman by photographer Ryan McGinley. Miley eventually won for a cool $300,000.
Both stars also donated $200,000 to the cause that night. "I'm a little drunk. That's why I'm half a million deep," MAC's latest Viva Glam spokeswoman said before getting serious.
"If I'm going to have a voice I would like to start an open dialogue about prevention and awareness, and how people in the world have been affected by HIV and AIDS," Miley said. "Hopefully, I could break down people's walls that have been built up around sexuality. I'm obviously not too embarrassed to talk about these things, especially with young people."
Miley sometimes makes some questionable decisions but we totally support her latest mission. Well done, ladies!
