Miley Cyrus isn't only an awesome singer, but girl's a great friend. The singer totally has the back of that homeless guy she took to the MTV Video Music Awards a few months ago now that he's in jail.A few days ago Jesse Helt was sentenced to serve six months in jail for violating probation. Miley finally opened up about the situation during a recent interview, and revealed that she actually has a really sweet plan set up to help him.
"We are going to start something where all my fans can send in fan mail to Jesse. We are going to start that really soon to encourage him and keep him inspired. I also want to start up a Q&A and kind of a blog for him to describe his journey. Right now he's doing really well. ... He's doing great and I want all my fans to send in letters...That will be very helpful," she told Sunrise .
"Without him doing that (going to prison) he would never have a chance to start a new chapter. He would always spend his life running, which now he doesn't have to do that (sic). When he gets out, he can come out and do whatever he wants to do and I will make sure he does whatever his biggest dream is (sic)," she added.
We aren't surprised Miley's helping Jesse out like that. She already is reportedly paying for his legal fees, and has offered him a place to stay.
Think it's cool she's on his side? We need a BFF like her ASAP.
