Meghan Trainor ‘s “All About That Bass” has taken the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the seventh straight week, which is the longest single in Epic Records history on the charts!
The 20-year-old singer is also leading an all female top five for a seventh-week in a row as well, which is a record for the longest female all top five on the Billboard chart. If Meghan can hold onto her title for a few more weeks, she’ll beat the longest running number one in 2014, which is Pharrell , for “Happy”.
Taylor Swift is holding strong with “Shake it Off” at number two, with Jessie J , Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj ‘s “Bang Bang” returning to the number three slot.
Rounding out the top five is Iggy with Rita Ora for “Black Widow,” and Tove Lo ‘s “Habits (Stay High),” which placed four and five, respectively.
