As if we needed another reason to love Kelly Clarkson , the original American Idol just belted out Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" at one of her shows, and we are obsessed.In a YouTube video of the performance, Kelly introduces the tune as "one of [her] favorite songs out right now." She slows the song down a bit and gives it a soulful touch. She finishes with a note on Tay, "Seriously, everybody gives Taylor Swift a hard time, but she can write a hook...I'm just saying."
Taylor was quick to see the video, and loved it, too. She tweeted, "Watching Kelly Clarkson SLAY 'Shake It Off' is an excellent way to celebrate 26 HOURS TIL 1989!!!!!!" Taylor's new album 1989 is actually out now.
