Demi Lovato is firmly on Team Taylor when it comes to Taylor Swift 's recent reaction to getting slammed for writing songs about ex-boyfriends , which she called sexist.In a new interview with ET Canada , Demi responded to the criticism surrounding "good friend" Taylor's lyrical inspirations, saying, "Don't f**k with me if you're going to say women suck," noting that she strives to spread the message of "inspiring women and inspiring everybody to be honest."
Demi also dished on her friendship with Taylor, saying, "She's one person that I feel like, one of the few people I've maintained a friendship with in this industry," adding, "[fame] just changes people and it's hard because you have incredible friendships and people change."
Um...is that a diss directed at former BFF Selena Gomez ? Earlier this year, Demi explained why she and Selena had gone their separate ways , saying, "people change and people grow apart."
As for Demi's Halloween plans this year, she and boyfriend Wilder Valderrama may have a couples costume in the works, as she said, "I think this year, yes...it's never happened really in the past, although we have kind of ended up...our costumes end up matching."
