There's been a lot of buzz about Ariana Grande 's recent diva behavior, including rumors that she doesn't want to be compared to Mariah Carey. Seems there's no truth to the Mariah bit at all, according to Ariana. In fact, she calls it an "honor."Mariah is a vocal powerhouse for sure, so while Ariana probably would like to make her own mark on music, being compared to someone with Mariah's pipes isn't such a bad thing. Plus, Ari is probably used to hearing it endlessly, so why not embrace it?
Ariana told Us Weekly : "Mariah has been a huge influence on me since I was a little girl. I've even done a cover of one of her songs. I don't think there are any negatives to being compared to one of the greatest vocalists of all time. It's honestly a great honor."
