One Direction were nominated for three awards, while John Legend , Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams earned five nominations each, Lorde received four nominations, and Iggy Azalea leads the pack with six noms.

5SOS were nominated for the New Artist of the Year Presented by Kohl's category, along with Iggy, Bastille, Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor.
One Direction were also nominate for Favorite Band, Duo or Group and Favorite Album, Midnight Memories. Vote to keep 1D in the running for Artist of the Year, as the ten nominees will be narrowed to five after votes received through 11/13 determine the finalists.
