Those One Direction fans mourning that Zayn Malik had wed Perrie Edwards are about to have a super Thursday - the boyband star is NOT married.
Rumours of a secret wedding spread like wildfire across the internet after Zayn made his Instagram page public, and shared a snap of him wearing a ring on his wedding finger.
"Perrie and Zayn are not married. The picture shows his engagement ring" a spokesperson for the singer told MailOnline.
The musical lovebirds became engaged in August last year - and the news broke when Perrie was spotted wearing a ring at One Direction's This Is Us world premiere. So you can understand why everyone thought there'd been a secret wedding. The man-gagement ring had also not been seen before - although some eagle-eyed 1D fans unearthed a photo of Zayn wearing his silver band earlier this year - and Perrie has also been snapped wearing a similar ring.
Anyways, Zayn and Perrie aren't married yet - but when they do, Perrie will be designing her own dress.
"I definitely want long sleeves. I know exactly what I want, so I'm designing it and getting it made from scratch. Not that I can draw... I'm getting Jade to do it" - she told The Mirror.
"She's going to draw it and I'm going to take it to somebody to make."
