Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been engaged for a really long time. Two years and two months, to be exact.
Of course, with an engagement that lasts longer than some celebrity marriages, the media has had plenty of time to play with various theories about why they haven't walked down the aisle yet.
Back in 2006, about a year after the Mr. & Mrs. Smith stars went public with their romance, Brad told Esquire magazine that there was a very important reason why they were waiting to get married. "Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able," he said, showing their strong support for same-sex marriages.
Then, they got engaged and everyone was a little confused, but since they still haven't actually tied the knot, they could still be holding strong on that statement.
Or, is the explanation actually much more simple? A new report by RadarOnline claims that Angelina's lack of female friends has sent her into a bridesmaid "crisis."
"They might let a lot more time go by before tying the knot because she doesn't have any close women pals she can call on to stand up for her at the ceremony," a source told the site. "Angelina's told Brad that they can't marry until Shiloh's old enough to be her bridesmaid."
How about having no bridesmaids? We can't really see them being hung up on something so trivial, especially given the powerful original reason they had decided to hold off on marriage.
What do you guys think? Can you see Angie delaying her walk down the aisle because she doesn't have bridesmaids?
