MLB teams join in Twitter sing-along of Taylor Swift song

The official MLB Twitter account and the accounts for the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds and others nosedived Monday into previously unmarked Twitter territory in professional baseball.

We've seen teams troll each other, talk smack and even engage in long-term, fact-backed debates. But we've never seen a Twitter sing-along of a Taylor Swift song by MLB teams.

The @MLB account started it with a "Glove Story" reference, then the Dodgers jumped in with the next line from Swift's 2008 hit "Love Story" and things turned into a high-school sleepover from there. Oy. Here's the Twitter show, followed by Swift's version.

We won't blame you if you stop right here and read something else on The Stew. But a few of the photos and allusions the teams used were somewhat amusing. Like you, Milwaukee Brewers, good job.
