Someone was clearly trying to spice up the weekend and get Directioners in a tizzy and it worked – a bit of panic and denial spread through the fandom, but then "this must be a joke" tweets and funny memes took over.
Judging by some of these pics (Taylor Lautner and Harry, Harry Potter and Taylor Lautner...the return of the Haylor face swap), we'd say most people decided to get in on the joke.
