Justin Bieber looks set to make a major announcement this week with the 'All That Matters' singer teasing “big news,” with speculation rife that he could be releasing a new album.
The 20-year-old made his Beliebers explode with excitement last night when he revealed that an announcement is imminent, although keeping the nature of the reveal a closely guarded secret until now.
“Got some big news coming,” Justin simply tweeted prompting fans to bombard him with pleas to share details.
While it's not known what Justin has up his sleeve, it's possible the Canadian star is ready to unveil his new music after spending several weeks working hard in the recording studio.
In the last few weeks alone, the 'Confident' singer has teamed up with a number of stars in the studio including his pop rival Austin Mahone who has revealed what it was like to work with the heartthrob.
Speaking about their exciting collaboration, Austin told ET Canada this week: “It's amazing. It was really weird being in the studio with him 'cause I did cover a lot of songs of his in the beginning. He's just real talented and works real well in the studio.”
Also spotted with Justin at the studio are Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy and teen sensation Madison Beer who gushed about Justin on Twitter.
“So grateful I get to work with one of the most creative geniuses in the world @justinbieber ... Learning a lot from you :),” Madison tweeted earlier this month. Returning the compliment, Justin said: “@MadisonElleBeer u did great. Song sounds great.”
Speculating as to what the announcement could be, @mahone_my_idol asked: “@justinbieber: Got some big news coming........” is it about that song you and Austin collabed on or,” while @thatproudbieber tweeted: “@justinbieber: Got some big news coming........” New tour? New album.”
Some of the funnier suggestions include @coolestmalik asking: “@justinbieber r u pregnant,” and @nblhpsr pleading: “@justinbieber Don't say that if the big news are coming is about your relationship.”
