Joe Jonas is not a man who minces words.
When talking to the April issue of Scene magazine, the former Jonas Brothers band member spoke out about Justin Bieber, who has been tangling with the law nonstop this year.
'I think we all saw it coming. Your dad is your party animal - that’s going to sum it up pretty quick,' the 24-year-old performer said.
The Grammy nominee's father is Jeremy Bieber, aged 38, who was with his son the night he was arrested for a DUI in Miami. The patriarch has also been by his side as the Believe star partied in New York City and Atlanta.
The brother of Nick and Kevin added: 'There’s an equation for some sort of explosion.'
Jonas also said that the Baby singer - who on Tuesday was spotted with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez at a Miami recording studio - is 'having a tough time finding balance.'
He also confessed that his rise to fame was not as challenging. 'I’ve had an easier route than most. The youngsters just turning 20, the Biebers of the world, are under a microscope,' he offered.
Joe also told the publication that hitting a Las Vegas strip club with Diplo was 'a dream come true.'
Joe began his bromance with the 35-year-old DJ - born Thomas Wesley Pentz - at one of his resident gigs at Encore's XS nightclub.
'Diplo. He's awesome. He's a new friend,' the former boybander told the magazine.
'I went to see him in Vegas. A fun night of him dragging me to a strip club. There wasn't much dragging involved. Going to a strip club with Diplo was fun. I think he knows his way around that place.'
Joe continued: 'You hear the idea of going to a strip club with Diplo, that's a dream come true. He's the king of twerking. He put it on a pedestal.'
The Grammy Award nominee also said collaborating with the electronic dancehall artist would be 'a dream come true,' since he's produced songs for Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Usher, Britney Spears, and ex-girlfriend M.I.A.
Noticeably missing from the strip club discussion was Joe's girlfriend of two years, graphic designer Blanda Eggenschwiler.
The Choice contestant was last seen with the Swiss-born 29-year-old at the Alfred Cafe in West Hollywood Monday.
The former Disney Channel star has had a lot more time on his hands since his band The Jonas Brothers split in October after eight years.
Meanwhile, Diplo will next man the decks Friday night at XS the Nightclub at Encore in Las Vegas.
