Great news Divergent fans – Lionsgate has just announced that they will be splitting the third book in the series “Allegiant” into two separate movies, Variety reports.
That means instead of the anticipated three movies in the series, we are getting four!
Divergent is not the only series to have split the final book in a series into two movies – the Harry Potter series and the Hunger Games series both split their final parts into two separate movies as well.
The first Divergent film was released last month and stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Miles Teller, and more. You can still catch it in theaters in case you missed it!
