She’s a world-famous pop star, but that doesn’t mean Demi Lovato is too scared to go without her make-up for a night.
The 21-year-old former Disney star arrived at Los Angeles airport on Sunday evening looking fresh-faced and fabulous, clutching a pillow ready for her long-haul flight to Brazil.
The singer plaited her long hair to the side, revealing her shorn crop on one side and a completely make-up free beauty.
There wasn’t a hint of mascara, false eyelashes, foundation or brow pencil as the 21-year-old greeted her fans at LAX.
In fact, the only coiffured item on Demi’s body were the black false nails she wore – other than that the former Disney star really did show her fans her true natural look.
She seemed thrilled to see all the Lovato fans waiting for her outside the Los Angeles airport and smiled as the crazed crowd gathered around to try and snap a picture of their favourite star.
Wearing black boots, the star wore a sensible outfit for her 12 hour flight to Sao Paulo.
She paired the army-style boots with casual black jogging bottoms, a Bretton striped top and a loose-fitting black cardigan.
The svelte star carried a huge plump pillow with a white case on and a black designer handbag in one hand and balanced her luggage as she tried to sign autographs with the other.
It would seem the star is proud of her natural look as she tweeted an intimate picture of her bare face as she boarded the flight, saying: ‘Brazil... Here I come... #NEONLIGHTSTOURSA’
And it would seem the star had an A-list arrival in the South American country – as much as she had a fabulous red carpet send-off.
She wrote a message to her fans on Twitter saying, ‘I can hear you,’ before adding, ‘If you're outside and reading this - start chanting "Natalie needs a boyfriend!”’, and, ‘You guys are so amazing hahaha love you all!!’
