Even though they aren't married anymore, Scott and Andrea Swift apparently want to run their daughter's music career, micro-managing her and the people around her. One source reportedly told the New York Post that T-Swift's parents are "difficult and controlling" and added that the former couple is making it impossible for people to work with Tay.
"Taylor's parents are incredibly difficult to deal with," the insider spilled. "They want to pay as little as possible and treat people like s**t, because they think those people are lucky to have the chance to work with a superstar like Taylor."
Whoa. Has fame gotten to the Swifts' heads? Possibly. This new report kind of makes sense because Taylor's longtime publicist was just axed a few weeks ago after the singer randomly decided to go another route. Could her parents be the reason why that went down?
We don't blame Taylor's family for wanting to have some say in her decisions, though. Papa Swift DID invest in some hefty cash in her record company before she was signed.
Maybe all of this family drama is why Tay's dating life sucks? Or maybe it's what makes her an awesome song writer too?...
Either way, T-Swift's brother is super cute.
