As much as we love Demi Lovato and her legions of Lovatics hail her as the queen...well, there are always going to be the haters who don't quite share that level of love. And yeah, some of them are going to be d-bags and take to Twitter to slam Demi. Because that's cool.
Demi's got the ultimate weapon to deal with the hate though and she straight-up fired back a tweet that was actually pretty lovely, following it up with some advice to her fans on dealing with bullies and trolls.
She tweeted: "Dear haters, you don't have to like me cause I love you. Everyone's equal, everyone has a soul and everyone deserves to be loved"
To her fans, Demi wrote: "Dear Lovatics, for every hater tweet--don't respond with hate but love and positivity.. Try love instead of combat"
This is all kicked off when a troll called Demi "fatty." Let's just say that fans didn't take it well, but Demi retweeted one fan who followed her advice, responding to the troll's "fatty" comment with "you are beautiful."
