TOP PICK: Chris Brown Diagnosed With Bipolar Disorder, PSTD, Ordered to Stay in Rehab

We're finally getting some insight into why Chris Brown been acting like such a violent douchebag for the past 5 years. The singer infamously assaulted his ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009, and he's currently in rehab after he allegedly assaulted a man last October. It was revealed that the 24-year-old's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post traumatic stress disorder while he was in court Friday for a progress hearing in his Rihanna beating case.

"Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD," the court documents obtained by TMZ say. Chris has already completed 95 days of anger management therapy and was ordered to remain in rehab for 2 more months.

The good news is he's now on medications and making progress in treatment. "Mr. Brown's attitude has been beyond exemplary in regards to his community service responsibilities," the court documents say. He reportedly wished Rihanna a happy birthday on Feb. 20 and the former couple has been texting a bunch since then. But Chris has been testing negative for drugs in rehab, including weed...and since we all know how much Riri loves smoking the reefer, this two are clearly toxic for each other. Stay far away, girl!
