Taylor Swift looks totally different in the new The Giver movie trailer, and if you blink you might just miss her in it. The singer acts beside Meryl Streep in the upcoming flick and changes her signature blonde hair to some brown locks.
The Giver is based on Lois Lowry's best-selling 1993 novel set in a futuristic society. It stars big time actors like Katie Holmes, cutie Brenton Thwaites, and Jeff Bridges.
We actually give the flick big props for not trying to cash in on Tay's celebrity. The trailer really doesn't really show her at all and doesn't showcase her name either.
In the movie, a brunette Tay portrays Rosemary, The Giver's daughter (jump to see her at 00:44). This isn't her first big time acting gig, either. She was in Valentine's Day, did voice work on The Lorax, and guest starred on New Girl and CSI. She's also received two Golden Globe nominations for best original song.
The Giver hits theaters Aug. 15. Check out the trailer below.
