We're finally finding out what we have all been secretly wondering for years now. Is Taylor Swift a virgin? If not, who did she lose her virginity to?
Well, according to new reports on RadarOnline.com, Taylor lost her V-card back in 2010 to her boyfriend at the time, actor Jake Gyllenhaal, and the whole thing wasn't sparkles and rose pedals either.
The site is saying that Taylor was saving herself and decided after three months of dating to give it up to Jake.
"She thought she was going to marry Jake, that's how in love she was with him," a source close to her told Radar.
Shortly after the couple started doing the deed, she threw herself a 21st birthday party in Nashville and he never showed up. Like any girl would be, she was devastated and cried hysterically in the bathroom.
"Taylor thought maybe he was planning some sort of surprise. Nope. He didn't show up and she locked herself in the bathroom and cried the entire night," the insider added.
"The day before - all was set - he was coming, no issues. But the day of, she doesn't hear from him at all. No texts, no calls."
Poor Taylor! We can't even imagine how horrible that would be. Actually we kind of can, her breakup with him inspired pretty much every word on her album Red.
"The song that specifically references this 'event' is 'The Moment I Knew.' The lyrics are all about her birthday party and Jake not showing up," the source said.
Some of the lyrics for the song include, "You should've been there, should've burst through the door...you said you'd be here."
In the song, Taylor describes how she was waiting in her "party dress" for him to show up and talks about running to the bathroom.
"What do you say, When tears are streaming down your face, In front of everyone you know?" she says in the song.
The source also told RadarOnline.com that Tay is still "stuck" on Jake and says the relationship left her damaged.
Listen to 'The Moment I Knew' below. Are you surprised Tay lost "it" to Jake? Do you think he's a jerk for what he did?
