For the first time in a long time Justin Bieber is getting some attention for his good behavior. He was just awarded a star on the Walk of Fame. It's not the one in Hollywood though.
The singer just landed a star on the Walk of Fame in the Philippines because of his Typhoon Haiyan relief effort.
When Typhoon Haiyan devastated the Philippines last year, Beliebers sprung into action, raising $3 million towards the relief effort. Not only did he get his fans to donate money but he also stopped by the country to visit the storm's victims.
Scooter Braun tweeted last year, "Looks like over $3 million has been raised by @justinbieber and his #Beliebers for #givebackphilippines. So amazing. Well done."
All of this comes after the country reportedly wanted to ban him from visiting after he dissed their hometown legend boxer Manny Pacquiao on Twitter. Read about that here.
It's good to see the Biebs getting some positive attention. We doubt he'll be getting an official star in America any time soon...
