After three mega-successful full-length albums, countless smash singles, and more pairs of tight pants and hair product than there are stars in the sky, British pop sensation One Direction are what you might call “REALLY EFFING FAMOUS.”
But lo! Niall, Harry, Liam, Louis, and Zayn weren’t always so high on the fame ladder (or as well-dressed, we might add).
According to this truly fantastic #tbt photo the band recently posted to their Twitter, the guys haven’t gotten too high and mighty to recall their earliest days on “The X Factor U.K.” Like, think the faraway year of 2010 — basically before the boys could grow facial hair.
Sharing their #tbt pic with Directioners worldwide (who, upon seeing it, are probably still inhaling into paper bags), 1D captioned, “#ThrowbackThursday: When this wasn’t the beginning of 2014, but this was the beginning of One Direction! 1DHQ x.”
Honestly? There’s not enough room for SQUEEEE on this page. All we can do is say, “LOOK AT THOSE BABY CHEEKS!! SO SMOOTH! SO INNOCENT! SO PREPUBESCENT!” And Liam with that Justin Bieber circa ’09 haircut!!
It’s almost enough to melt the 5-plus inches of snow on the ground!! Heck, there’s probably enough electricity in this picture to jump-start the subway into running normally after a snowstorm! (Hint, hint, 1D.)
