Taylor Swift looked more like a royal family member than most of the British Royal Family while attending the Winter White Gala at Kensington Palace Tuesday evening.
Dressed in a gorgeous white gown, Taylor looked very much like a princess when she greeted Prince William shortly before performing for the 200-person audience during the charity dinner.
"I'm really excited," she said during a radio interview with BBC Radio 2 about the performance.
"I'm really stoked. It's the first royal engagement I've done and I'm very, very honored.''
Of course, Taylor admitted that she's been catching up on etiquette skills so that she's fully prepared and doesn't make an ass out of herself when she's around the royal family.
"I think I'm just really safe if I just shake hands and be polite," the "Red" singer explained.
"I think that's being presumptuous in assuming I'll meet them, so first I'm going to be polite enough to not assume I'll meet them.''
This specific charity event was set up to raise money for Centrepoint, a charity providing housing and a range of other services to young homeless people in the U.K. Taylor was actually an awesome fit for the event because she's currently looking to buy a house in London!
Would you be nervous to meet Prince William?
