Miley Cyrus intends to celebrate her 21st birthday weekend with a smile despite her home being burglarized Friday.
Hours before heading to her latest performance for Sunday night's American Music Awards, the pop star posted several photos on Twitter of herself lying in bed, makeup free, and getting affectionate with her pups.
One pic shows Cyrus with wild bed head with the caption, "Crazy hair / post b-day / @amas todayyyy!"
Another twitpic shows the "Wrecking Ball" singer puckering up to smooch one of her dogs who approaches her loving gesture.
"Perfect start to the perfect day," she tweeted.
The pet lover continued the affection with her dogs by laying a big kiss on her Huskie
"I love him soooo f--king much I can't stand it," she wrote.
She also shared some of her birthday love with a snapshot of a colorful flower "M" and what she described as "the gayest birthday cake ever," a photo of a white frosting cake with rainbow layers inside.
But things weren't so joyous for Cyrus on Friday when her Studio City home in Los Angeles was reportedly broken into, Us weekly reported.
The LAPD confirmed the rumors stating how several items had been stolen from Cyrus's luxurious pad and an ongoing investigation ensued.
"She's extremely upset and a lot of personal items were stolen," a source told the mag. "She's really shaken up about the whole thing."
But the show must go on and the "We Can't Stop" singer is set to take the stage at Sunday night's AMA's and is reportedly going out with a bang to end the evening with a birthday bash at the Beacher's Madhouse theater in Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel, reports E! News.
