He's worked with Adele, Leona Lewis and Kelly Clarkson in the past - but Ryan Tedder has claimed that Demi Lovato has one of the most impressive vocal ranges he's ever encountered.
The OneRepublic frontman, who recently scored his own UK No1 with the band's hit 'Counting Stars', gushed that the X Factor USA judge is "a crazy talented singer".
Tedder co-wrote Demi's latest single 'Neon Lights', the third to be lifted from her recent Demi album. He'd previously collaborate with her on the song 'Who's That Boy?' from her last album Unbroken.
He told Capital FM: "She's a little popstar, isn't she? She's a crazy talented singer.
"I don't produce a lot of dance music, and so that record 'Neon Lights' we did intentionally because I wanted to."
He added: "She came in and just ripped it. She, in pop music, has one of the biggest ranges, possibly the highest full-voice singer [that] I've ever worked with."
Getting technical on us, he continued: "She can belt full voice like three octaves above middle C, it's just crazy, practically off the piano, how high she can go. And [she has] complete power and complete control.
"At the beginning [of the song] she's singing the lowest note she's ever done, and by the end she's going as high as she's ever gone.
"It's a fun dance record."
