Selena Gomez is apparently opting to “play the field a bit” after breaking up with Justin Bieber.
The actress-and-singer broke up with Justin Bieber, 19, several months ago.
It was recently reported that Selena and British songwriter Ed Sheeran were “hooking up”, but it has now been suggested that the songstress is also spending time with other guys.
Apparently the 20-year-old star has been seeing Wizards of Waverly Place actor David Henrie, her former co-star on the Disney show.
She is impressed with David’s levelheadedness, which is believed to have been welcome following her former beau Justin's occasionally childish behaviour.
“David has been a breath of fresh air. He’s mature, intelligent, calm and patient - all the things Justin isn’t,” a source told America’s OK! magazine.
“She’s known him for more than six years, and while she still wants to play the field a bit, she’s really enjoying David’s company.”
It is said that Selena has upped her game romantically and is no longer willing to date people who are immature.
“[Selena] won’t stand for immature egomaniacs; she’s had her fill of that with Justin,” the insider said.
Meanwhile, Justin’s bad luck continues as he fell down a flight of stairs just before a photoshoot.
The singer showed off his injuries, including bruises and a graze on his neck, on Instagram. “Why I gotta fall and cut my neck before a photoshoot,” he captioned the video.
In the 14-second clip Justin reveals he hurt himself ahead of an Adidas shoot.
“So I decided that I was going to fall down the stairs. So I did. So that's exactly what I did,” he laughed.
