Nick Jonas Reaches Out to Demi Lovato After Her Dad's Death

Nick Jonas proved once again that he's an amazing friend to Demi Lovato, tweeting to her after he heard the news of her father's death.

Nick tweeted: "@ddlovato WE CAN'T STOP THE WORLD, but we can find friends we DON'T FORGET. So blessed our TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS collided. Stay strong."

So sweet.

Other celebs sent their condolences as well, like Ariana Grande, who tweeted: "Sending @ddlovato an abundance of love, light and prayers."

Simon Cowell sent his love Demi's way too, tweeting: "My thoughts are with you Demi."

@TheXFactorUSA tweeted: "Our thoughts & prayers are with you @ddlovato--we love you #StayStrongDemi"

Demi was grateful for the support from friends and fans, tweeting: "I feel so humbled to have had so much support from my fans, friends, family and complete strangers.. God bless you all, thank you so much"

Demi and her father were estranged in recent years, and she sang about the relationship in the song "For the Love of a Daughter," which included the lyrics: "How could you push me out of your world, lie to your flesh and your blood, put your hands on the ones that you swore you loved?"

"It's a very personal song," she later told the Daily Mail in 2012, "'Oh father, please father, put the bottle down...' The lyrics are self-explanatory about my relationship with my estranged father whom I haven't spoken to in five years. I wrote it when I was 16 and getting it out is like therapy."
