Justin Bieber Pledges Movie & New Music In 2013

The year is more than half done, but Justin Bieber believes there’s time enough to release another movie and new music.

Having just added an Australasian leg to his “Believe” world tour, Bieber has Tweeted an optimistic timetable for some new works.

He Tweeted, "Rest of the world tour, movie, and #NEWMUSIC all coming this year! never stop working. #focused."

The Canadian pop star’s self-affirming note arrives after the mid-way point of what's been a bumpy 2013. On the European leg of his world tour, he appeared late on stage at London’s O2 Arena – and later apologized to his fans. At a later show in the same venue, Bieber apparently fainted backstage and required hospitalisation.

And then he got in hot water for an ill-advised comment left in the guestbook of the Anne Frank House museum in Amsterdam, there’s been an assault charge, speeding accusations, he's been tackled by a fan, and his tour bus was searched for weed, there was his “monkey business” in Germany, the heist after his show in South Africa and he was booed at the Billboard Music Awards.

All that aside, Bieber's celebrity status is still sky-high. As a pop artist, he sells huge volumes of records and has serious box-office clout.

Bieber's new film would follow his 2011 concert film “Never Say Never.”

Earlier this month, Bieber used Instagram to share what is presumably the artwork for a new single,"Heartbreaker.”
