Nicki Minaj is reportedly leaving American Idol after this current season, Us Weekly reports.
“It’s safe to say she isn’t coming back to Idol,” a source told the mag about the 30-year-old entertainer, also adding that she will be focusing on her album, touring, and endorsements instead. “She’s okay with it. She had a great time but was only going to do one season anyway.”
Nicki joined American Idol with Mariah Carey back in 2012. Randy Jackson, veteran judge since season one, has just announced that he will not be returning.
