Selena Gomez called off a string of interviews yesterday after falling ill on a recent trip to the UK, but despite admitting previously she was feeling under the weather rumours she was pregnant with Justin Bieber's baby soon began.
Following an interview with Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1's Breakfast Show yesterday morning, Selena took to Twitter to confirm the sad news that she would be forced to pull out of a string of commitments.
Selena even admitted during her interview with Nick Grimshaw that she was feeling under the weather. Soon after 'Selena Gomez pregnant' began trending on Twitter with fans either agreeing she maybe, or getting annoyed at others jumping to conclusions.
One fan wrote: "Yall are crazy every time selena gomez gets sick y'all think she is pregnant like do u know how stupid ur tweet looks and u," (sic)
While another said: "I admit it... Selena Gomez says she is sick. Sick enough to cancel a show&say it could be what she ate. My first thought: pregnant! =D LMAO!" (sic)
Speculation follows Justin and Selena's backstage kiss at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night. The couple, who split in late December 2012 after two years together, appear to have reconcilled recently.
Not only were they spotted on a string of dates leading up to the Las Vegas awards, but then shared a very open kiss backstage, much to the disgust of BFF Taylor Swift who stuck her tongue out with disapproval as she walked passed.
