Kevin Jonas' wife Danielle Deleasa was initially apprehensive of their relationship.
The Jonas Brothers star wed former hairdresser Danielle Deleasa in 2009 and they have their own reality TV show, Married to Jonas.
They met while on holiday in the Bahamas in 2007, but it wasn't love at first sight for Danielle.
"She didn't really want to have anything to do with me," Kevin admitted to the British edition of OK! magazine.
"She thought I was going to move back to LA and she'd never see me again, so what's the point? She was smart to say that because that's exactly what we dealt with as I was gone all the time. After we met, I didn't see her for two-and-a-half months, but we talked all the time and the relationship grew. And here we are!"
Married to Jonas allows fans to follow the famous couple's every move.
Having cameras trained on them every day can be stressful for the star.
"You have to forget them or you'll go nuts," he confessed.
"It's an amazing thing how much they film. They're there with you constantly, so you really do have to say, 'OK, what am I going to do? What's going to happen?' It's a little frustrating but you have to ignore them the best you can and after a certain amount of time you really do forget they're there."
Despite their own show, Kevin insists they're not the "next" Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
The star went on to wish expectant mom Kim "all the best".
