Demi Lovato Won't Tour New Album Because Of X Factor USA and Surgery?

Demi Lovato has disappointed fans this week admitting that due to her hectic schedule including judging the third series of the X Factor USA alongside frenemy Simon Cowell and new judges Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio that she may not be able to tour her new album 'Demi.'

The 'Camp Rock' actress released her fourth album in the UK last week reaching the top ten marking her most successful record in Britain ever by a mile while in the US her new role on one of America's most coveted panels also helped the singer gain her highest first week sales ever.

However despite being more popular than ever breaking new global territories, the 'Heart Attack' hitmaker has hinted that she may not be able to tour because she's getting her tonsils out.

Speaking to DigitalSpy, the 20-year-old broke the news to thousands of disappointed Lovatics saying: "It's a little bit of a bummer but I'm sure I'll be fine within a few weeks - things could be worse!"

However Demi being the workaholic that she is, working as a model actress and singer since she was just seven, admitted: “I say that now and then I'll end up going on tour!”

The star has gone through some pretty tough times widely publicised in the world's press openly talking about her experience of eating disorders and self harm which lead to the star entering a treatment centre to battle “physical and emotional issues” has become a role model for young women across the world.

Her new album 'Demi' is certainly her most personal album yet but the singer admitted that several songs on the record are just too personal to perform live telling the site: “No one needs to see me that vulnerable!”

Demi is currently in the UK promoting her new album and will be performing her latest single 'Heart Attack' on Britain's Got Talent this week.

Auditions for the third series of X Factor USA kicked off last week with new judges Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubino making their debut on the sought after panel.
