Will.i.am Backs Justin Bieber: 'He Could Get Sex And Drugs But He Chose A Museum'

Justin Bieber came under fire for suggesting Holocaust victim Anne Frank could have been a Belieber, but his buddy Will.i.am was quick to defend the comment. Will says Justin should get credit for visiting a museum in Amsterdam instead of indulging in the city's infamous sex and drug culture.

The Voice star Will.i.am shot to Justin Bieber's defence when questioned about his latest outrageous comment – that he hoped Holocaust victim Anne Frank would have been a fan of his.

Will insists Justin should be praised for visiting a museum in Amsterdam, instead of trying out the city's legal sex and drug culture.

Bad press started for Justin when he lashed out at a British photographer during the London leg of his Believe tour, before letting down young fans by arriving two hours late for a concert.

Bieber was then slammed for writing in an Amsterdam museum's comments book that he hoped Anne Frank would have been “a Belieber”. Will thinks we should lay off the kid, who he collaborated with on new single #thatpower:

“Justin is a great talent. Of all the people I have worked with over the past five years he is one of the best.

“I remember when I was 19, it was pretty tough. The difference between me and him is that I got to grow up in private, he is growing up in front of everybody."

The Black Eyed Peas star reckons we should praise Justin for trying to educate himself:

“We are like, hey, that guy went to freaking Amsterdam and went to see Anne Frank’s museum and said, ‘I wonder if she would’ve been a Belieber’.

“The dude was in freaking Amsterdam. He could get sex because it’s legal, he could get drugs because it’s legal, and now we are making a hoopla because he said, ‘I wonder if Anne Frank was a Belieber?’

“He went to a museum! If you go to Amsterdam you are going to see some crazy freaking s***, you are going to see some ti**ies, there is a lot of s*** to do in Amsterdam but he chose to go to Anne Frank’s house. The guy is all right", he told The Sun.

So does Will think Justin is going crazy under the pressure of fame?

“He is handling everything pretty sanely. Anyone else would go insane under that freaking microscope of scrutiny and judgment.”

What do you think? Has Justin gone too far this time?
