'He is worth £70m but we have never seen a penny of it': Justin Bieber's ill grandfather lives in broken cabin while star ignores him

He has an estimated worth of around £70million and can buy anything he wants.

Yet, Justin Bieber's grandfather is living in squalor while the teen sensation flies around the world on private jets.

George Bieber is currently sleeping on a dirty mattress in the front room of his small and damp two bedroom cabin in Mitchell, Canada.

The 61-year-old is too ill to even walk upstairs and so is confined to the downstairs of his home, which is cold and drafty since a tree fell and left a huge hole in the roof.

According to George, his grandson is well aware of how ill he is, but Justin has done nothing to help him and the woman he calls 'Gramma Kathy'.

Speaking to The Sun, George said: 'Justin might be worth £70million but we certainly have never seen a penny of it.

'It's hard to imagine the money Justin has, as it's about as far removed from our life as you could get.'

George is unable to work due to his severe back condition and his health hasn't been helped by the crumbling shack he calls a home.

He is saddened by the way Justin has ignored him and admitted that the only gift he has received from the Baby singer was a television.

His wife Kathy, 56, works 40 hours a week at the local factory hauling sacks of paint powder around for just a small amount of money to help keep their heads above water.

Justin is currently trotting the globe on his world tour, but George and Kathy have never been on holiday because they can't afford it.

The last time George saw his grandson was at a family gathering at Christmas, but he hasn't been to the rundown cabin he spent much time at as a child in years.

George, who is the father of Justin's dad Jeremy, is also heartbroken at the way the superstar has been acting recently.

Describing him as 'too big for his britches', the former demolition man is worried about who is advising his grandson.

He told the newspaper: 'When I hear about his recent behaviour I just wonder who on earth is looking after him as, believe me, this is not the loving little boy we always knew.'
