'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' star Emma Watson has admitted she loves living in the US because she finds the place “fascinating”.
The British actress returned to Brown University last month to resume her English literature studies at the Ivy League institution and wants to experience as much of life in America as possible.
The 'Harry Potter' actress told Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera: ''I live in the USA; I find it really fascinating. I'm studying this huge country, it surprises me, but it's also very scary.''
Although Watson has fallen in love with the country she insists she will always retain her European heritage.
The young style icon who was born in Paris but raised up in England continued to say, ''I could say that I watch 'Girls' and I'd love to act with Lena Dunham, but I still feel European.''
The 22 year old actress took a break from her studies in 2011 after 18 months to promote 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' it was decision Emma didn't take lightly.
She explained: ''I hate having to leave my studies behind when I have to work, but I only have two real passions: books and cinema. Growing up is really harsh. Society nowadays makes young people ask themselves questions without really giving any answers. But facing difficulties makes you grow up as well.''
