Demi Lovato has denied that she’s dating One Direction star Niall Horan in the past but she has sparked rumours of a romance once more by gushing about how “special” the blonde cutie is, and claims that “every girl needs someone like Niall”.
The X Factor USA judge flew into London for London Fashion Week this weekend, despite wearing a heavy-duty cast, and she was seen in attendance at the Topshop show as was Louis Tomlinson and his girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
Now in a new interview Demi has gushed about how Niall is her favourite from One Direction, and even suggested the pair had spent time together having “fun” while she’s been in London.
“All of the One Direction guys are great – but there is something a little special about him,” Yahoo reports. Before continuing: “Niall is really one of the most fun people to be around. It has obviously not been great hobbling around on a broken leg – but Niall can even make that funny.
“He can make light of the most serious situations – and every girl needs somebody like Niall in their life.
“I know when a text comes through from Niall there is a great chance it is going to actually make me laugh out loud.”
Rumours began circulating that the pair were dating after they had several Skype chats, before meeting at the MTV VMAs as well as lots of Twitter flirting.
Both denied they were dating, and Niall has more recently been linked to Amy Green, who the Irish star is said to have ditched last week.
Even their boss Simon Cowell has joked about their relationship, warning Demi to stay away from “pure” Niall.
In a clip from X Factor USA, Demi says to Simon: “By the way Niall says hi,” to which the music mogul replies: “Oh what from One Direction? Keep away from him, he’s pure.”
